High Search Engine Positioning

For the inexperienced internet marketer that is just beginning to understand search engine optimization, getting a higher search engine positioning seems like a very daunting task. And to be honest, it is if you do not have the experience or the tools to do the proper analysis.

In reality, getting higher search engine positioning really boils down to doing some basic things really well, and then doing them often. Because you can bet that ever who you are competing against for the page one ranking for your targeted keywords are working just as hard as you are to get and maintain those positions.
If you do these tasks on a consistent basis, you will find that this hard work ends up with high search engine positioning:
  • Careful and thorough analysis of keyword search statistics that you want to target for your website
  • Spend time to make sure your website is highly optimized for the targeted keyword, that means your "onpage optimization" includes the valid meta tags (title, description and keyword), appropriate header tags, keyword relevant content on your page, and proper keyword density
  • Start building back links by posting your content at your favorite social bookmarking websites, or submitting articles to article submission sites like EzineArticles
  • Make sure you properly optimize these submissions by including your targeted keywords as the anchor text for the link
SEO does not have to be complicated, in fact if you follow the above steps on a consistent basis, you will find that it becomes a quite simple and repetitive task. It actually has become my favorite part of internet marketing and I look at it as a challenge of how I can beat my competition for the best keywords to get the high search engine positioning.
